The SAFE Project

The SAFE Project is an interactive scrollytelly application that helps sexual assault survivors understand the roadblocks to report their assault. It is a free web application where a user can learn how a sexual assault forensic kit is collected and follow its journey through the chain of custody.

The experience starts with state senators who pass and change the law, to the Attorney General’s office that trains medical sexual assault response teams (SART), to the medical examiner who conducts the exam, the forensic analyst in the sheriff’s department who analyze the kit, concluding with the advocate who accompanies the survivor during the exam and helps survivors navigate their trauma.

The Safe Project is accompanied by an immersive VR experience that gives users the chance to experience a sexual assault forensic exam (SAFE) from a survivor's point of view.

قررت انا و ثلاث من زميلاتي ان نسلط الضوء علي بضع الحقوق المنتهكة  في مصر
من خلال فيلمنا الوثائيقي " ع الصفر" الذي اتبعنا من خلاله حقوق الانسان الاولية (مثل المأكل و المشرب و الصرف الصحي) ، حرية التعبير عن الرأي و حق عدم التعذيب في السجون و العتقلات. كل من هذه الحقوق منتهكة بصورة واضحة في مصر بالرغم من  اهميتها​​

Non-Entity

Salma and three other girls decided to shed some light on the negligence of the three most violated human rights in Egypt.
We directed and produced a documentary that tackled substantive rights, 
freedom of speech & torture in prisons; all of which are chaotic yet unaddressed violations in Egypt.
